Four Hospitals Listed for Medical Tests of Nepali Workers Going to Israel
Kathmandu — Four Health Institutions Approved for Medical Tests of Israel-Bound Nepali Workers
The Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security has listed four health institutions for conducting medical examinations of Nepali workers aspiring to go to Israel for employment.
In a notice issued Monday, the ministry stated that the listing was done based on recommendations from a technical committee, in line with a mandamus order from the High Court Patan.
The four approved institutions are:
- Star Hospital
- HAMS Hospital
- Manmohan Memorial Medical College and Teaching Hospital
- Kistal Diagnostic Pvt. Ltd.
The ministry has also informed that the listing process for Nepal Mediciti Hospital has been temporarily suspended.
The Patan High Court had previously ordered the government to list five health institutions for medical testing of Israel-bound migrant workers. Following that directive, the ministry has listed four and held off on one for now.
