Rabi Lamichhane Unwell, Blood Test Underway
Kathmandu: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane is reported to be experiencing health issues. Following signs of possible health complications, a blood sample was sent to the hospital for testing today.
According to RSP spokesperson Manish Jha, party Vice-Chair Dol Prasad Aryal visited Lamichhane at Nakkhu Prison on Monday morning. During the visit, Aryal noticed a yellowish tint on Lamichhane’s skin, which prompted concerns about his health and led to a request for a medical check-up.
“It seemed there might be some health issue, so the Vice-Chair also recommended a test,” said Jha. “His blood sample has now been sent for testing.”
The blood test report has not been received yet, he added.
Lamichhane was transferred to Nakkhu Prison just two days ago from Bhairahawa Prison. Upon arrival, he was placed in a block that houses around 400 inmates.
